Ponce de Leon
127 E Park Ave, Tallahassee, FL 32301, USA
Ponce de Leon Park (often known simply as Leon Park) is one of the centerpiece green spaces within the historic Chain of Parks running along Park Avenue in downtown Tallahassee. Originally established in the late 19th century as the city's first dedicated public park along what was historically surveyed as the "200-Foot Street," it sits shaded beneath massive, moss-draped live oak trees between North Monroe and Duval Streets. Today, the park serves as a community gathering hub, best known for hosting the weekly Tallahassee Downtown Market on Saturdays from spring through autumn, where local farmers, craft artisans, musicians, and food vendors fill the tree-lined promenades in the shadow of the Capitol.
