Situated in a historic central neighborhood, Midtown Reader is Tallahassee's only general-subject independent bookstore to have opened in almost thirty years. Established in 2016, the shop stocks carefully chosen new books in all genres, emphasizes Florida authors, and regularly hosts literary events, author talks, and children's programming with the Kidtown Readers Club.
