Lake Ella is an 18.5-acre lakeside park in north-central Tallahassee. The park has a 0.8-mile loop trail, picnic shelters, a gazebo, benches, and scooter rentals. Stone cottages constructed in 1925 for the original Tallahassee Motor Hotel have since been converted to a dozen quirky shops and restaurants. Residents and visitors enjoy walking, fishing, watching ducks, and enjoying the historic downtown treasure.
