Florida State Capitol

The Florida Capitol, located in downtown Tallahassee at Apalachee Parkway and Monroe Street, is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with free admission. It is closed on weekends, state holidays, and occasionally for security or official government activity. All visitors must pass through security screening, and groups are asked to follow entry procedures and decorum guidelines, as the Capitol is an active government building. Quiet behavior, respectful conduct, and adherence to safety rules are required.
