Florida Caverns State Park provides a unique opportunity for visitors to explore Florida's only air-filled, dry caves that are open to the public. Inside the caves, visitors can expect to see cool air, falling water, and amazing cave formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstones. The caves were painstakingly enlarged by hand in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the group also responsible for the park's visitor center. Guided tours are available to explore the caverns.
