Longmire Recital Hall
Tallahassee, FL 32304, USA
Built in 1938 and named for FSCW Alumni Association founder Rowena Longmire, the historic Longmire Building blends rich history with modern function. Originally home to the Alumni Association, it has served many roles, from guest quarters to music and law libraries. Today, it houses beautifully preserved spaces like oak-paneled offices, Gothic-style lounges, and a group piano lab. In 2008, a significant renovation transformed a second-floor lecture hall into the 140-seat Longmire Recital Hall, ideal for piano, vocal, string, and chamber performances.
