Our Story & Community
Established in 1935, Immanuel Baptist Church (IBC) has been a cornerstone of the Tallahassee community for nearly a century. Located at 2351 Mahan Drive, we are a large, vibrant Southern Baptist congregation dedicated to sharing the gospel, fostering spiritual growth, and serving our local community. We believe in creating a welcoming environment where individuals and families can connect with God and build meaningful relationships with one another. Guided by our passion for local missions and community outreach, our doors are open to everyone looking for a place to call home.
Our Worship & Ministries
To serve our diverse congregation, we offer multiple weekly opportunities to gather, reflect, and worship. Our Sunday mornings feature two distinct styles: a traditional service at 9:15 a.m., featuring classic hymns accompanied by a full orchestra, and a contemporary service at 10:45 a.m. led by a modern worship band. We also host a mid-week evening service on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. Beyond our worship services, IBC is home to thriving ministries tailored for every stage of life—including IBC Kidz, our Student Ministry, a dedicated group for College and Young Professionals, and our "Iron Men" discipleship program. No matter where you are on your faith journey, there is a place for you to plug in, grow, and serve with us.
