Myers Park
Originally developed as a country club community in the 1920s, Myers Park evolved into an eclectic Downtown neighborhood with everything from cozy cottages to grand estates. The Myers Park Historic District, designated in 2001, encompasses about 120 early 20th century homes around the Capital City Country Club golf course. The namesake park offers a pool, baseball diamond, walking trails, and tennis courts. This area near Cascades Park has been home to Florida Supreme Court justices, cabinet members, and civic leaders.
