Myers Park feels like a step back in time, yet it's right in the middle of things. This historic Downtown Tallahassee neighborhood, just a short walk from Cascades Park, started out as a country club community back in the 1920s. Over the decades, it grew into a truly eclectic place. You'll find everything from modest, cozy cottages to some genuinely grand estates here. It's the kind of place where you might expect to see a Florida Supreme Court justice or a cabinet member out for a stroll, and you wouldn't be wrong. Many civic leaders have called this area home.
The heart of the neighborhood is the Capital City Country Club golf course, surrounded by about 120 early 20th century homes that make up the Myers Park Historic District, designated in 2001. The namesake Myers Park itself is a big draw, offering a public pool, a baseball diamond, walking trails, and tennis courts. It's a great spot for a weekend afternoon. While there aren't many commercial spots directly inside the neighborhood, you can find places like House of Music Tallahassee (Adult) nearby.
