Killearn Acres

Part of the greater Killearn community established from the former Velda Dairy Farm in 1964, Killearn Acres began development in the late 1970s. Uniquely, streets are named after Kentucky Derby winners, with through-streets as "Trails" and cul-de-sacs as "Courts." The neighborhood features nearly 5,000 residents in diverse home styles with mature landscaping, two parks (Pimlico and Man-O-War), and is zoned for De Soto Trail Elementary, Montford Middle, and Chiles High.
