The Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway, a Trust for Public Land project, was acquired by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Office of Greenways & Trails in 1998 and is now managed by Leon County with support from the Friends of the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway.

Spanning 503 acres of scenic pasture and forest, the greenway features 17 miles of trails open to the public for non-motorized recreation from sunrise to sunset.
